Environment
Our aim is to provide our services with the environment in mind to allow us to protect and improve our environment for this generation and those to follow. As part of our ESG Strategy we have in place a support team for both our employees and supply chain to help address environmental issues and help tackle climate change through short, medium and long term goals and objectives. In order to provide services which protect the environment we aim to:
- Make the most efficient use of energy
- Reduce waste and recycle materials
- Increase circular solutions throughout our supply chain
- Support our supply chain and build resilience
Social
LM Services recognise that building strong relationships in the communities and areas where we work is of key importance to build trust and reliability and to develop our social impact through collaborating with the local communities, schools and charities and many more. In order to develop our social responsible we ensure:
- Provision opportunities for apprenticeships, placements and long-term unemployed
- Staff volunteering opportunities for local community projects
- Partnering with employment, education, voluntary and public sector organisations
- Strengthen our links within the local community
- Develop our staff and workforce to upskill and undertake development opportunities
Governance
To deliver our business in a responsible and effective way we have in place measures and policies for corporate governance. We ensure that the following areas are in place and addressed on a regular basis to allow demonstrable business integrity:
- Procurement (including supply chain management)
- Stakeholder engagement
- Diversity, equality and ethics
- Business continuity, risk strategies and mitigations
